At The Cottage Restaurant, the owner wanted extra counterspace in order to put their bag down. We collaborated with them and the D|13 Group to make sure that this request was met to accommodate the owner and their guests. Working with us is a true partnership as we want to make sure our customer’s every request is granted to create the aesthetic that they want in their restroom.

The America Free Zone in Costa Rica is home to more than 23 companies including Dell, IBM, and many other leaders in the technology and services sector. Costa Rica is a leader in environmental preservation and green energy production which made sustainability a high priority for America Free Zone when looking for products for their buildings.

This world-class business campus decided to install over 200 XLERATOR^® Hand Dryers in their restrooms to meet their high standards for sustainability. This resulted in reduced energy use, a lower carbon footprint, cost savings, and more hygienic and efficient restrooms.

XLERATOR dries hands completely in 8 seconds and uses 80 percent less energy than conventional hand dryers. Saving 95 percent on cost when compared to paper towels, the XLERATOR also eliminates their labor, maintenance, and waste, while creating a more hygienic restroom environment. The XLERATOReco^® Hand Dryer is the greenest hand dryer in the world, helping to reduce carbon footprints globally. This touchless, high-speed, energy-efficient hand dryer uses new ‘no heat’ technology to dry hands in 12 seconds using only 500 watts, making it the most energy-efficient and environmentally friendly hand dryer on the planet. With a maximum draw of four and a half amps, multiple XLERATOReco units can be installed on one 15- or 20-amp circuit, which significantly reduces installation time and costs.

Both the XLERATOR and the XLERATOReco Hand Dryer can be ordered with any of our complete line of accessories to customize your hand drying solution, including an optional 1.1” Noise Reduction Nozzle and HEPA Filtration System which has been proven to remove 99.999% of viruses from the airstream. The ThinAir^® Hand Dryer is featured at the Collegiate Charter School in Lowell, Massachusetts. The Collegiate Charter School is part of Sabis, a global education network serving more than 70,000 students across 20 countries and 5 continents. In the age of outsourcing to the lowest bidder, Excel Dryer remains committed to the great tradition of American manufacturing. This was a key point that resonated with John Harris, owner of Harris Associates and architect of the Collegiate Charter School. “If I am taking a look at a product, the first thing I look at is where it’s made,” he says. “Not only do we want to keep jobs in America, but the fact that there’s certain controls in the manufacturer and design of those systems. We always look at a product in the light of how sustainable it is. Of course, that’s got to be looked at within the realm of affordability as well, but we find that the Excel ThinAir fits both bills.”

The ThinAir^® Hand Dryer is a high-efficiency model that is surface-mounted and ADA-compliant. When surface mounted, the dryer meets the 4” ADA protrusion guidelines to accommodate people with visual impairment. As a sensor-activated, touch-free hand dryer, ThinAir reduces touch points and decreases the risk of cross-contamination from users contacting potentially unclean surfaces in a restroom. ThinAir dries hands in 14 seconds, has adjustable speed and sound control, on/off heat, an antimicrobial ABS cover and a washable pre-filter to extend the life of the unit. Optional Antimicrobial Wall Guards protect wall finishes from excess water, ideal for high-traffic restrooms.
