Two unique venues, one BIG tour:
Tobin Center for the Performing Arts and Pearl Brewery
Monday, June 25 | 9:15 am - Noon
Tobin Center for the Performing Arts
The Tobin Center, a versatile, world-class performing arts facility, has served as a magnet for downtown revitalization and a center for specialized education opportunities and exposure to extraordinary performances. Situated along the banks of the River in the heart of San Antonio, the historic Municipal Auditorium, with its original facade preserved, is a shining beacon of creativity, fine art and downtown development.
The remarkable flexibility of the 1,746 seat H-E-B Performance Hall, with its distinctive “flat-floor” capability, opens the door for performances and events of almost any sort. The acoustics in the Hall can be “tuned” to fit the performance and the physical set-up of the hall, and the sound insulation throughout The Tobin Center also enables simultaneous use of the Performance Hall, the Studio Theater and the 600-seat River Walk Plaza.
Pearl, located north of downtown San Antonio, provides a unique experience as a top culinary and cultural destination. The mixed-use space features retail, dining, picturesque green spaces, paseos riverside amphitheater, and the third campus of The Culinary Institute of America. As a former brewery operating from 1883 to 2001, Pearl reflects a vivid past while embracing the future with LEED-certified complexes mixed with historic architecture.
