  • The Best Bees Company is a science-based beekeeping service that helps property and sustainability leaders turn underutilized spaces into trusted sources of ecological data and inspiring experiences.

Best Bees on-site beehives deliver credible biodiversity data, green building certifications, and unforgettable tenant engagement, all through a fully turnkey experience.

Client beehives are professionally cared for by Best Bees’ trained beekeepers and will contribute ecological data to one of the largest standardized honey bee health datasets in the world. Through routine hive inspections and pollen analysis, the program helps scientists better understand pollinator health and the plants growing across the surrounding landscape.

Through Best Bees’ HoneyDNA™ biodiversity reporting program, pollen collected by the bees is analyzed to identify the plant species bees visit across the surrounding landscape. These insights help organizations better understand how their properties interact with the natural environment while supporting pollinators essential to healthy ecosystems.

“Our work has always been about showing that urban beekeeping can be more than a symbolic gesture,” said Delaney Dameron, CEO of The Best Bees Company.

“Every hive we manage contributes real ecological insight, from pollen data to long-term colony health monitoring. As more organizations look for credible ways to support biodiversity, programs like this allow buildings to become part of a larger network, helping scientists better understand and protect the ecosystems around us.”

In addition to contributing to research, corporate pollinator programs create opportunities for community engagement within the building. Best Bees’ beekeepers host hive visits, honey tastings, and educational experiences that allow tenants and employees to connect with the habitats surrounding their workplace.

By joining the Best Bees network, properties becomes part of a growing community of organizations across the country working to support pollinators, monitor biodiversity, and strengthen the ecosystems that sustain us all.
