Greg Plavcan leads Gensler DC's Sustainability Consulting Team. His projects range from small interior projects to large scale and mixed-use base buildings. He has worked on law firms, tech company projects, commercial office interiors, and government buildings as a sustainability consultant on one of the firm’s first Sustainable SITES pilot project certifications.
Greg holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Minor in Business from Villanova University, as well a Masters of Architecture from Catholic University. He worked as a LEED consultant prior to starting at Gensler and has also worked in a small architecture studio on an academic campus project in Azerbaijan.
Greg has chaired the NAIOP DC/MD chapter's Sustainable Development Committee (SDC) since 2019. The SDC is comprised of a dedicated group of real estate professionals, developers, architects, engineers and consultants with a mission to communicate the business case for sustainability in the built environment.
