Adam Slakman, managing director, is Head of ESG at J.P. Morgan Asset Management – Global Real Assets and responsible for the platform’s ESG strategy, performance, and reporting. An employee since 2023, Adam brings an extensive track record of industry experience. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Adam spent nearly 10 years at Hines in various roles. He was involved in acquisitions and management of three separate accounts within Investment Management, and then spearheaded the firm’s sustainability group, which was re-envisioned with a new ESG strategy in 2020. Earlier, Adam helped start ULI Greenprint, and began his career at Transwestern. Adam holds a B.S. in economics from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is also an active member of the Urban Land Institute.
