Description

Join GSA lease policy subject matter experts for an interactive discussion about current green leasing requirements and the roadmap to Net Zero leasing. During this session, GSA will review current and future sustainable leasing requirements, and collect audience feedback on upcoming requirements to prepare building owners and operators to compete for future federal leases. GSA and the Federal Government are tasked with creating a more sustainable portfolio of leased and owned federal spaces and buildings. To accomplish this, the GSA Office of Leasing has been leading change by incorporating more sustainable building requirements in lease procurements, preparing industry professionals to meet net zero emissions goals by 2030. . GSA relies on the commercial real estate industry to provide space that complies with federal leasing needs. Industry feedback is valuable in helping shape future sustainability requirements.
