Now you can experience the benefits of the Trident
Wireless Water Leak Detection System in a unique trial package
Sunnyvale, CA – October 5th, 2021 - The Detection Group, a member of the Watts Family of Brands, and the market leader in wireless water leak detection systems for commercial buildings, has developed a unique Mechanical Room Starter Kit.
The new Mechanical Room Kit utilizes all the standard, FM Approved Trident wireless components that are currently protecting over 50 million square feet of space in 400 buildings across North America from water damage losses. But the system is scaled down to present a cost-effective opportunity for buildings, large and small, to protect just against mechanical room pipe leaks, drain back-ups and HVAC pan overflows.
The Trident Mechanical Room kit consists of a Smart Base Station, RF Communications Hub, sensors, and water sensing cables. As customers see the benefits of the Trident system and the positive ROI, The Detection Group can configure other locations in their buildings with additional equipment as needed.
“Because mechanical room water leaks and drain back-ups are responsible for a high percentage of costly water damage losses, it is the perfect location in which to experience the advantages of the Trident system,” said Laurie Conner, President of The Detection Group. “Now for just a fraction of your building’s insurance deductible, you can protect your mechanical room from a disaster, and be on your way to acquiring a full building leak detection system.”
The Mechanical Room Kit will be available through select Lync by Watts manufacturers reps throughout the US and Canada.
Water leaks cause over $10 billion in damages every year, more than fire damage and theft combined. Left undetected, even slow drips can cause significant property damage and result in business interruption, increased insurance premiums and even legal action. The Trident Wireless Water Leak Detection System (fondly referred to by customers as a ‘smoke detector for water’) monitors sources of potential water leaks 24/7/365 and reacts instantly to a water event by sounding a local alarm and notifying multiple designated individuals by email, text, or phone call.
About The Detection Group: Headquartered in Sunnyvale, CA with regional offices in San Francisco, San Diego, and Chicago. In addition to the Trident System, it has developed automatic water shut off valves for instant damage control, flow meters, expandable new construction leak monitoring kits, and proprietary software for capturing leak event data that can be used to help customers and the building industry identify potential leak prone zones.
The Detection Group takes pride in working hand-in-hand with their customers to ensure every installation is tailored to their specific needs and is always ready to respond instantly to a leak anywhere, anytime, to avoid costly damage losses. For more information, visit www.thedetectiongroup.com
