  Sunnyvale, CA – October 5^th, 2021 - The Detection Group, a member of the Watts Family of Brands, and the market leader in wireless water leak detection systems for commercial buildings, has developed a unique Mechanical Room Starter Kit.

  The new Mechanical Room Kit utilizes all the standard, FM Approved Trident wireless components that are currently protecting over 50 million square feet of space in 400 buildings across North America from water damage losses. But the system is scaled down to present a cost-effective opportunity for buildings, large and small, to protect just against mechanical room pipe leaks, drain back-ups and HVAC pan overflows.

  The Trident Mechanical Room kit consists of a Smart Base Station, RF Communications Hub, sensors, and water sensing cables. As customers see the benefits of the Trident system and the positive ROI, The Detection Group can configure other locations in their buildings with additional equipment as needed.

  Just because it’s the weekend doesn’t mean water isn’t leaking and causing damage. The Flow Meter shuts off water supply if water is flowing when it shouldn’t be.

  Sunnyvale, CA – September 30, 2021 - The Detection Group, a member of the Watts Family of Brands, and the market leader in wireless water leak detection systems for commercial buildings, is introducing the new Trident^TM Flow Meter.

  FM Approved Trident wireless components currently are protecting over 50 million square feet of space in 400 buildings across North America from water damage losses by notifying property managers and/or engineering teams by email, text, or phone that a leak is taking place and precisely where that leak can be found.

  But many smaller businesses, medical practices and warehouse facilities don’t have the luxury of property management teams or the need for full-time engineering staff. So how can they protect themselves against costly water damage losses during business hours if employees don’t see a leak? Or, during the middle of the night and days when the facility is closed?

  The Detection Group Flow Meter is the solution. It digitally tracks real time, water consumption and temperature all day every day. You can set your own parameters as to what type of flow and temperature range are acceptable both during normal business hours and even when you are closed.
