Breana Wheeler has served as the US Director of Operations for BREEAM since 2016 overseeing the deployment of the full BREEAM family of standards throughout the US. She leads two Technical Teams on Resilience and Social Impact, both of which focus on research and development of themes within the BREEAM's global suite of standards. Prior to joining BRE, Breana worked for ten years as an internal advisor on environmental and sustainability risk management for large, multinational corporations.
Breana is a Member of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals, a Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA), a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) with the Society for the Environment.
Throughout her 15+ year green building career, Breana has established a standing as a well-respected expert in the space with a robust background presenting and moderating panels and discussions around a wide array of ESG and sustainability topics for CRE.
