The Reimagined Future of Work and Place: Flexibility at the Forefront

Description

Work and place have become uncoupled. Though there were signs pre-pandemic that this shift was coming, it has been accelerated to meet the gravity of this moment. Spending an extended amount of time working at home has led to new workplace design approaches that address some of the shortcomings that had begun to emerge previously—such as over-densification, a lack of both adequate focus and collaborative space and poor deployment of technology. This session will explore the findings from Gensler’s research on how workforce views are shifting, and the tools, technologies, and amenities that can best balance real estate performance with personal well-being and purpose.
