Susan Engstrom has more than thirty years of property management experience in Phoenix. She has expertise in all major property management sectors—high-rise office, low-rise office, garden office, large industrial complexes, retail centers, medical office, associations and multi-housing. Her specialty is creating strong teams that can excel at tenant relations, operational oversight and create lasting relationships with clients. Susan has been directly responsible for the day-to-day operations management, lease management and construction management of large and small projects throughout Phoenix and the surrounding areas. She is very involved in Building Owners and Managers Association both in Greater Phoenix and internationally. She has chaired several committees and served on the Board of Directors for BOMA Greater Phoenix off and on for the last 20 years. She began serving as Secretary, Treasurer, President Elect, Governor and President in 2004 and again in 2009.
She has been the Chair of BOMA International’s State Government Affairs Committee, Government Affairs Committee and an Executive Committee member. In 2013 she was awarded the Pacific Southwest Regional Member of the Year and in 2015 she was chosen to be a BOMA Fellow, a very prestigious award within BOMA International for those persons who “have displayed exemplary and sustained contributions to the industry, their profession, the community and BOMA at all levels and have continually answered the call to leadership and service throughout their careers.” Recently she served as Vice-Chair of the BOMA PAC and currently she serves on the Floor Measurement Standards Committee and is Vice-Chair of the Awards Committee.
