Brent Krebs and his team operates a food truck based in Spring Hill, Florida and services the North Tampa area. The truck was built custom for DeStefano’s in 2017, which serves lunch, dinner, and caters events.
Chef Brent completed his Culinary Arts degree in 2007, and spent four years managing catering at the University of Central Florida (UCF). He spent the next four years running two restaurants in Orlando that averaged over $1M / year. In 2016, Chef Brent was a chef at a specialty Italian restaurant and ran food service at a wine and craft beer bar in North Carolina. While the truck was under construction (which took a full year), he served as kitchen manager at a private country club in Florida.
Chef Brent and his business partner, who is a pastry chef and Italy-trained culinary chef as well as a former Marine and trauma nurse, realize that running a food truck is not just about being able to cook. Their experience in life, catering, culinary teaching, food service and restaurant management helps them be successful in their venture, and they understand the unique challenges food truck operators face.
