BOMA International is pleased to host a special Student Day on Sunday, July 14 at the 2024 BOMA International Conference & Expo, where college and high school students can experience first-hand what commercial real estate can offer as a rewarding career choice. Plus, you'll receive a $100 Amazon gift card for participating!

Paticipants will be assigned a mentor to accompany them throughout the day, making introductions to industry practitioners, answering questions and providing guidance throughout the day's activities. Following a morning orientation, you'll get to choose which education sessions you would like to attend among several concurring sessions. You may also chooose to attend the BOMA Board of Governors meeting to learn more about how this trade organization representing the commercial real estate industry operates, and how becoming a member of BOMA will help you advance your career.  You will then attend the Opening Keynote Session featuing Michael Smerconish, a celebrated radio host, television personality and bestselling author who will bring a refreshing perspective to the world of political commentary and current affairs. Then it's on to the Expo, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch buffet, and where you'll find over 400 of the leading companies servicing the industry who will showcase the latest technologies and innovations for efficiently operating commerical properties. Next, you'll get a behind-the-scenes tour of the Pennsylvania Convention Center, where you'll learn how a facility of this size is able to operate in a smart and sustainable way. Finally, the program will wrap-up with a networking reception for all the student participants, mentors and other industry leaders.

Registration Eligibility

Careers Building Communities BOMA International has partnered with Careers Building Communities to help individuals discover careers in real estate. To qualify for complimentary Student Day registration, you must be a full or part time student enrolled in a college or university and not fully employed in the commercial real estate industry. High school students interested in a career in commercial real estate may also register to attend Student Day.

• Enter code STDSCT in the field that asks if you received a special code to register (please note the code is case-sensitive)

• In the JOB TITLE FIELD, enter "Student"

• In the COMPANY FIELD, enter the name of your school

• Complete all other required fields

• Once you have completed your registration, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you
